Strawberry Days Quilt Pattern
Introducing the Strawberry Days Quilt Pattern! This pattern came to be when I was contemplating a quilt I wanted to make for my brother and my parents for Christmas. In my hometown there’s a summertime celebration called Strawberry Days. It’s a big deal. It includes a week full of fun events, including a parade, carnival, and rodeo. Some of my favorite childhood memories involve Strawberry Days, and it’s only grown in popularity as the years have gone by. The rodeo tickets go on sale in December, and my brother is online the first day each year, buying a huge block of tickets for our entire extended family. I wanted to commemorate all these memories in a quilt for my family, so I designed Strawberry Days. It ended up being so fun to sew and such a cute design that I decided to create the pattern for my shop.
The Strawberry Days Quilt Pattern includes instructions for 5 sizes - Mini, Wall Hanging, Baby, Throw, and King. The quilt is made entirely from Hourglass Blocks, so the cutting and construction is very simple. For each quilt, all the pieces cut are the same size, making for easy cutting. Conveniently, two of the sizes use popular precut sizes. The wall hanging quilt uses 5” squares, and the throw uses 10” squares, so these sizes can be made easily with charm packs or layer cakes. All sizes work well with scraps and yardage, as well.
I’ve created a full quilt tutorial to help guide quilters through the process of creating this quilt. It’s linked in every pattern. Watch it here.
